The SNCF was created on january 1st, 1938 by nationalizing the seven main french railroad companies
(Alsace-Lorraine, État, Est, Midi, Nord, P.L.M. and P.O.).

HO-scale motive power

The following pages present a list of locomotives of the SNCF HO-scale reproduced by
FLEISCHMANN and ROCO.
A brief history of the prototype – companie(s), number(s) and paint scheme(s) – is given for each model and
a photograph of the model and its prototype are sometimes available.
As you will be able to note, the same prototype could be reproduced in different paint schemes.
